I removed the regular from my parts car with broken motor by drilling out the spot welds at the bottom of the regulator track. That way I could slide the the part the fits to the bottom of the window out.

Put it back together with strong stainless steel rivits. Track was a little bent so I made a window stop and installed on track so window will only go down about half way.

These regulators are of extremely poor design. The cable can bind in the spool and the thing will not work.

I removed motor from one regulator and put it in the regulator I recovered from my parts car.

I plan to disconnect power to rear windows so they will not go down. Quite frankly they are so poorly design I'm suprised they fucntion at all.

I can see why break with very, very, little use.
