Speedy, I am doing the same thing, but for the W123, I saw how you did it in the ashtray. I like that, but I would like to do an A pillar also. I bet that there is one that is really close that slight mods can be done to it, or we could just make our own. What series of gauges do you like? I am thinking VDO to match the cars VDO gauges, but I like the autometer lunar series
