It's a little difficult to remove the ALDA from a 603, but it can be done withouth removing anything else. It just takes some time & patience.

Scottmcphee has it right. Go for it! You'll be rewarded with a car that responds as it should!

If you keep your foot out of it, your fuel mileage will NOT be affected. My 603 still manages 30+- mpg with the ALDA removed. Low speed black smoke may still happen at low, take-off rpms.
