I ended up replacing both filters plus fuel lines to injectors. Whole project took less than an hour. What surprised me was that I only had to pump maybe 15 times to get air bubbles out. The car started fine and has run well all day. I was under the assumption that I would spend all day pumping, considering I just spun the filter on without filling it with diesel
