They average 20 MPG in mixed city/ highway driving. A person could get much better fuel economy with these cars if they drove them more conservatively than I do. I not saying I beat on them like a teenager does (I'm 49 years old), but I'm not the most conservative driver around either. Let's just say there probably isn't too much carbon built up in the combustion chambers! (Which is a good thing!)
