digiediny, after looking at your pics my guess is you did not put penetrating oil on the 8mm nut and you did not hold the ring elec connector as you turned the nut and that's how you spun the electrode. Most people over tighten that 8 mm nut which is unnecessary. All you need is make it snug for an electrical connection which makes it easier to remove and not twist the electrode off.

Next time cover up the injectors with the lines removed. Cleaniness is important!
