one other thing to be aware of.back in april of this year i sold a bmw to a guy from another state.and for some dumb reason i was talking to my insurance agent about it and the fact that i wanted to drop the coverage on it.they said that until the car was transfered that i was still liable for it even though i no longer owned it.so i kept coverage on it and a week later called his local dmv to see if he had in fact transfered it,and he had so i then pulled my insurance.
