Yeah, John was talking about my e320. I'm on Mobil 0W-30 for the winter...but if I can go 10k on my m104 then I will...that 2.5 gallons of Synthetic ain't cheap. The filters are very reasonable. 10k makes synthetic much more reasonable.
On the e320 the filter comes out relatively similar to the 617 Plastic spinoff vs a metal cap..if memory serves..then a filter change in any parts house parking lot would be nothing. 10 extra minutes on the way to work...Don't know anything about the 740iL though.
