I just rented an auto transport(full car carrier not just a dolly) at the beginning of January. The fee was $49.95 per day. I already had a class III hitch and wiring for a boat. I did have to purchase a wiring converter. Evidently the U-haul stuff is wired differently than everything else, but it was only $4.00. When I called they told me that I would need a class III hitch so, to my knowledge they don't rent the hitch. They did do a nice job though, they check to verify that the car you will be carrying will fit on the transport, they connected it while I filled out the papers then showed how to lock and unlock the ramps and fenders so you can get out of the car after you drive it on. They made the pick-up and dropoff very easy.

Hope this helps.
