Thanks, unfortunately junk yards are a joke around here. The one I went to for a fender had a 240D with 47,000 miles on it. Engine and trans were long pulled. Apparently it has been there for eight years. Guy tried to charge me 60$ for a combination stick. I laughed and said I can get a new one for that much online.
I'll pound it back in and drop some thread locker at the very tip. Probably won't do anything, but the amount of rust on those pins will ensure that it's not going to fall out.
