I don't write anything on a paper calendar anymore but it is quicker to just give my favorite family pics 2011 calendar a glance if I'm checking a date for something.
Actually, we still do get a fair amount of checks
so it's there to keep from having to answer "what's today's date?" repeatedly. Plus it covers up the beat-up counter.
