Hate to revive a 5 year old thread. But I need help!

I've gotten the marker light out, and removed the other white knobs but cannot figure out how the heck to get the bezel around the back of the light to move.

Is this bezel supposed to slide towards the radiator? Everyone says "forward" just scared to break something.

Advice or pics appreciated.
