OK, in need of a car while I figure out the issues with my 87 300D. Came across a 1981 300D with 180k on odometer (Not working) for 1000 bucks. What do I need to know about it, look out for etc? It's been basically sitting for a bit, tires have dry rot. But suppose to run and drive fine, has issues with climate controls not switching between hot and cold... passenger window not operating.
I'm waiting and some pictures of it and should have them shortly.
