Sucks that it won't come out. I know there was a mid-year change on these cars but not sure what the changes were. Maybe that is one of them? I eliminated my EGR shortly after getting my 300D. The stupid oil mist being sucked into the turbo and being blown through out the intake finds it's way everywhere, even with just a little blow by. I clean out my lines when I change the oil. Carb cleaner works well for this.
