read every thread on peach parts and benzworld on cut springs. and took notes on significant findings from every thread.

The threads are very opinionated and have conflicting information. Trying to pull it all together from everyones mistakes and success and come to conclusions before cutting.

A lot of people have opinions without experience.

The ones with experience in lowering tend to leave the forum. maybe because the consensus is that the genius MB engineers made the car perfectly which implies that there is no room for improvement and the innovators are wasting their time or not as smart as the mb engineers. which is probably true, but for sure there are innovations which the mb engineers did not consider that for sure innovators want. For sure some innovators leave because they are made to feel uncomfortable And maybe some innovators leave because they mess their cars up and get disappointed or dont want to feel the heat from the oem is right majority.

whatever the reason the innovators leave, so the knowledge base is thin.

i am just trying to have the most success by being as prepared as possible. So i try to have the right donuts ready for my wheel guy and then someone mentions shims and frankly i thought it just was springs and donuts.
