Dear used car sellers; if you're going to mention rust you better post a non-resized picture of the exact spots since you know already where it is and how bad it is. All digital point and shoot camera's now are of amazing quality. Every car I've sold with rust had pictures, there's no use hiding it or downplaying how bad it is. Plus "normal" or "not that bad" rust to anyone east of say, Nebraska, is a hell of a lot different than, say, Colorado rust.
That being said, people are idiots. Here's a few good ones I've been told before going to look at a car.
Little dent in rear quarter = rear end collision.
Minor dent in front fender = front end collision
Paint "chips" on door = 2" layer of Bondo cracking across entire door, flaking paint.
Little rust = whole m*thrfarking thing is swiss cheese.
Anything prefaced with "Little" or "Minor" usually isn't or it would've been fixed by now.
