Long shot....There are a pair of "roll-over" switches on the rear axle. One on each side of the car. Very visible from underneath. They are there to activate and deploy the roll bar in case of a roll over, but often a hard bump will set them off. The roll bar controller is part of the system which operates the soft top. Check them for position and operation. Does the roll bar raise and lower via the console switch?
