1.unscrew retaining nut
2.have someone turn on radio
3. extract old mast (take note of direction of teeth on old mast while removing)
4. Insert new mast with toothed side facing in same direction as old mast
5. Have someone turn off radio as you guide mast into antenna body.
6. re-fasten nut on antenna base.
7. turn radio back on and off to check antenna function.
