which temp lcd units are compatible?
my last go at figuring out my balky outside temp gauge indicates that the cluster piece was faulty. i had connected a 3k load across the connector in the fuse box when it was not working and i got no reading. previously, i had changed the thermistor without any real change - it was still intermittent. it has since been working off and on but yesterday, i noticed that 1/8 of the lcd was dark. i think maybe the unit is shot at this point and i'm looking for a replacement. does anyone know what units are compatible with my instrument cluster? just want to know what to ask for at the dismantlers. the price of a new one is a bit much at around $200...
