I use 10w30 in my Miatas, non synthetic, change at 2500 miles mainly because I like wrenching on the Miatas  |
Mercedes put fully synthetic 5W/40 oil in my M104 engine when I bought it from them and it's had the same ever since. Always 5W/40 but various makes. I've never been that desperate about the oil as long as it's 5W/40 Fully Synthetic.
Engine's fine after 20 years and 370 K KMs.
