If i could find one cheap i'd buy it....but i have yet to see a single stick. I think I'm going to get a 190E 2.6 since it is cheaper than the 300e.

Not necessarily.
A dealer close to me here (his cars always look impeccable....) has almost identically optioned 190E 2.6, and 300E cars, both 1990, both full service records, both MB Tex, same colour.
190E is 12000, 300E is 11000. (Canadian $. You Americans can divide that number by approximately 1.55)
As the dealer pointed out to me, when new, the 300E commanded about 50% more than the 190E. Now, he says, if they are in the same condition, they sell for about the same.
I can't figure it out, personally. I do have a 190D, but paying the same for a 190E 2.6 as a 300E? I don't think so.
Still, that car was very seductive. Small, nimble, and with the 2.6, just as fast as a 300E...
