Just bought a new Pierburg Vacuum Pump w/ the name Pierburg stamped on the body for the '86 300sdl (603). It arrived in Febi Packaging (photos).

Is this the real deal or? I know Febi makes a rebuild kit for earlier pumps but not this one. Could it be a Pierburg assembled by Febi. Or something remanufactured?

Just want to know before I slap it on in the morning.
