If a car(81 380 SL) set up for 2 years would the fuel distributor go out? It runs fine as long as you pour gas into intake but as soon as you stop, it dies. If so, is it impossible to fix? Believe me the owner is not going to buy a $2k rebuilt one so the car will just continue to sit if not. It is not my car. I have rebuilt a min. of 50 carburetors in the past 35 years. Is is more complicated than any the worst carb?
