I did some digging, and some more digging, decided I need to focus on getting a backup runner first, before I start looking for donors. Also, I found more ominous rust I hadn't seen before on mine, so more patient searching is in order.
No oil cooler, that got hit, lines are there. I talked to my go-to guy, he says to forget about getting it registered. I'm pricing out locally the parts that I need out of it, so the market will tell me it's worth. If the numbers work out I might still take it. I don't mind the work parting out what I'm not keeping, but fixing it is out of my league. I actually got a lead on a good engine to snipe once it hits cl.
I hacksawed off my exhaust pipe today after I reinstalled the refreshed driveshaft. What fun!
