I have never stepped on an Airbus and don't want to.
I don't like their design philosophy. To many tails coming off, and the computer only allows you to operate in a very particular envelope. Sometimes when between a rock and a hard place we need to exceed the design limits. Airbus will not let you do that, ever. Boeing limits you but allows you to exceed limits. Mcdonnell Douglas's 1965 design of the MD80 (DC9-80) is fly by wire, their called cables and the limiter on the aircraft is the Captain and Copilot.

Besides, the one group of pilots who have crashed more Airbuses than any other group are the Airbus Test Pilots. 4 fatal crashes since the company started.

So I'm not really a Airbus fan.
