Here you go, Squiggle Dog.
I think the hood, grill, truck deck and roof are the only good sheet metal on it.
Pics of the Seller. Bob was kind of enough to hold
this car for me since last November with a small
deposit. He told me a few stories about this car.
He bought it in 1985.
If old cars could talk.......the stories they would tell, huh?
It really freaks me out
to look in the rear view mirror and see a car so close
and up high.
My first thought is an out of control
Semi Tractor Truck getting ready to run over me.
So, I experienced my first flat tire with
my new trailer. I picked up the trailer about 3 hours before the car.
I knew that tire had a slow leak; I aired it up yesterday before leaving
Lafayette, IN and again this morning. I even had a can
of Fix a Flat with me that I could put in it. I'm sure the tire got low
and overheated.
The only thing left of the tire was the valve stem.
Hey daw --- are you going to restore this one? NOPE!!
The rearend is reserved for Ben since Ben's rearend leaks
more than the engine bay. The plan is to rebuild the best
rearend with new seals and keep Ben driveable while I'm
doing the work. Well, we all know about plans.
I'm going to try to get the engine running. If I do, it will
be for sale as will other interior parts.
Squiggle Dog --- sorry for the thread hijack --- you get first choice.
