I can get it to shift now but it requires me to clutch once to get to neutral and then once again to get into gear. It will only shift into gear if i pressure the shifter stalk while releasing the clutch. Kinda tricky.

I was told that it might be the throw out bearing that has become crusty. I will take a look. It does squeal quite bad during clutch in.

Any other ideas or things to look at?
