Best: Driving from Atlanta to Alaska in the summer of 2009. Two guys with camping gear, food, beer, tools, a lot of spare parts, and a replacement 617 motor in the back. Trip of a lifetime, and the '85 wagon didn't miss a beat.

Worst: After purchasing a 'new' '87 TD, I lost a rear wheel bearing while driving it home to Ann Arbor, MI. A crappy experience... but also a learning experience.
