Does the "Dual" just mean that the size is the same from "GM" to metric?

It's a Sanden "FK" head with the R12 ports built into the head.

This AC hose stuff has me confused and any enlightenment would be welcome!

I'm planning on using this condenser:

The inlet is #8 (Which matches the discharge from the compressor) but the drier outlet is a #6. I'll have to do a #6 to flare for the TXV , and then a flare to #10 for the suction side of the compressor. The hose sizes/fittings have me a little confused.
I think all the fittings are standard, not metric. I think you can recognize the metric by the split across the flat on the fitting. Look about 10 items down at the link: http://www.rayeveritt.com/Fittings/10Fittings.htm

What I did for my custom hoses was remove the parts, take them to an A/C place where they confirmed the sizes, then ordered the hoses to match.
