After yanking some overgrown shrubbery in the yard a couple mystery items were found. I would be interested in your opinion.

The first one looks like a coathanger bent in loops. Since it has been in the ground for a long period of time I am guessing a rug beater.

The second item is some kind of fastener with chains. My initial impression was part of a tire chain.
