Looks like you are doing a good job with it.
Thanks for scaring me I had a look at the fan and the engine is turning the right way I didn't even think of that...

The front:



I'm going to use that horizontal lug on the block to bolt the back of the bracket to. I thought about doing an adjustment like you describe but it will add more nut/bolt unions which can rattle loose.

Man, I studied and studied all those euro brackets and couldn't figure out a way to do it like that with the engine in the car. I basically just found out where the pulley had to be and built around that.

The bracket actually required a lot of work just to be usable.

I just hope it's going to be strong enough to handle the load.
