That seems high. When I was getting lots of exhaust work done, I could get a full dual system from the manifolds back for $200. This was with 2.25 or 2.5" mild steel and cheap Cherry Bomb knockoffs. I would think just one pipe and a cheap muffler wouldn't cost a whole lot.
