The lower ball joints were dealer, but the bushings & links are Fastlane. To your point, not much evidence of wear, but I as well wanted new components after 256K.

I did not include that I am hearing a thud when braking. I have not had the time to replace the tie rod ends, but am thinking & agreeing that it would be more like the upper control arm bushings.

"i'm sure you know to "shake" the wheel at different axis to isolate tie rods, ball joints and wheel bearing load"

I do not know how to implement this method ?? Need a little help here.
