This is appropriate anytime an engine has been apart.

Any Merc model with Electronic ignition....disconnect the plug with the Green wire that plugs into the Ignition module. No signal in ....no overload.......


Yes, leave the plugs out and WATCH... the Oil Pressure Gauge as you crank the engine. You might hear the change in cranking engine RPM as the oil pressure rises.
Crank it for a few more seconds .......its better if the rocker cover is off so you can see oil delivery to the top end.


Put the plugs in now and ............"Kick er in the Guts"..!!!!!!!!!!
