SUCCESS.

With no vacuum, all shifts are nice and firm/hard with no hints of flaring. Before I put the K1/K2 kits in 2/3 and 3/4 flared. 2/3 when cold, 3/4 all the time.

With vacuum:
The 1/2 shift is smooth
The 2/3 shift is noticable but still smooth, no flaring.
The 3/4 shift has an extremely minor hint of flaring.

I still have to adjust the modulator, I believe one step of adjustment will solve the minor flaring issue and I can write off this transmission issue and knock off one more item on my list for this SD.

Now I'm off to shower. ATF coated myself after I forgot to fully tighten down the passenger set of pan bolts.
