I'm Cleeve and I work with Scott and to answer your question about your radio, yes, it is an Alpine unit. The problem with the display is a common one. Unfortunatly Alpine seems satisfied not to sell any OEM parts to anyone. I have been arguing with them for years. As a Service Manager this is veery frustrating for not only us but to our customers. As for the Bose systems, They are very good sounding systems designed for the picky audiophile. They do have some issues that if addressed properly will help them last for years to come. We get more compliments on our Rebuilt Bose Amplifiers. We cut no corners and use high-grade parts to replace the lesser quality ones. With that people sware the sound is much sharper than ever.
