I see..
You may want to check both the temp gauge and thermostat.
The temp gauge/sensor should read accordingly:
60C-110 ohm
80C-67 "
100C- 38 "

It is surprizing to have that motor run at those temps with an
accurately funtioning 87C thermostat installed.
