A friend of mine pulled the tank out of his BMW 2002 and had it brass lined. A radiator shop in Cleveland, Ohio did it. I guess they clean the tank real good then pour liquidified brass into it then swish it around. Seems to have worked very well and this was last summer. Not sure if this is a widely practiced method, but just wanted ot chime in. BTW, Timevalve makes a very good exhaust system, we installed one on a 6.9 at the shop and it fit excellent and sounded similar to a more expensive Borla system.
