The emergency brake splitter on the 560SL models has the adjustment screw facing frontwards towards the engine which necessitates removing the splitter from the tunnel to make the adjustment. Does anyone have a better photo (rather than the schematic shown below) that depicts how this splitter attaches to the parking brake cable coming from the pedal?
