If you didn't drive it much, in that condition, you may have luck on your side. Probably only time will tell. At least now you will know what the symptoms are if they do fail.

BTW, why did you do a homemade oil separator? If you were getting a lot of oil in the filter area, you might seal around the top of the separator. I ran a bead of RTV sealant around the "lid" and it definitely cleared up. Be sure and let it cure before running as you don't want even the slightest bit of RTV to end up in the crankcase.
