I see some of those broken moral compasses every time I go to an Army Surplus store. They seem to be quite common. You can buy the lens for them and if you know how they are easy to repair.

On a more serious note: The WBO came to a town in Oklahoma called McAlester and their tires were slashed. Then nobody in town would sell them any tires and no one would serve them at the cafes. They screamed and threaten to sue but they never did. They finally had their van towed to somewhere that would sell them a set of tires.

Then they came back a few weeks later and carried their signs at three different places in town. The cops told them where they could stand and everyone just ignored them.

And they never came back.......
