I just removed my rear seal and took this photo of the cross section of the rear seal. Thought this might interest those who are reading the thread. Gives them an idea what the OEM seal looks like.
I would be great if someone had an old aftermarket seal that they could cut and photograph, to give us an idea what the actual difference is.
