Our daughter's school has a really cool feature to use when applying for colleges. It has a list of all the universities students at the school have applied to and whether they were accepted or not. Thousands of data points. You click on the university and it brings up a scattergram which shows either the ACT or SAT score of the student who applied and their GPA, and indicates whether they were accepted or not. It will then plot your kid's position on the scattergram giving you an idea of what the odds are of getting accepted.
