You have the right values but on the wrong valves. Intake = 0.010" Exhaust = 0.035". This is for a cold motor, it should not have run in 4-5 hours. They give a Hot spec that adds 0.005" to each value, but its best done cold.

The adjustment is two 14mm nuts screwed to the top of the valve. The upper nut is what the rocker arm pushes on. By turning the nuts counter-clockwise the effective length of the valve grows. Clockwise movement produces the opposite effect. The jam (bottom) nut is rather thin and accessing these two is rather difficult without the special curved thin wrenches MB# 615 589 00 10 00.

We charge an hour labor to adjust the valves and also charge for a new V/C gasket.
