my hood star was stolen about 3yrs ago, and I just smoothed off the base of the star. I have an extra hood star, but don't want to install it mainly because it will be stolen again.

but when my rear star was vandalized, I had to replace it because it looked ugly and if fully removed, will uncover the 3 holes in the trunk.

so I have the rear star to show people why I drive a Benz - when I'm overtaking them on the highway ...
