My town has my TD appraised value, and thus taxed, at $6000! It's realistically a sub-$1000 car, maybe $1500 if pumped up to the million-mile/greaser crowd. I can bring the car to one of three hearings, all in September, to show the committee that it's not worth anywhere near $6K. Unfortunately I haven't been able to make it to one of those hearings yet.
