Google"s advertising income is from ads relateded to user searches. The ads higher up on the page, either on the side or the banner ads at the top of a search, pay a higher price for every time a person clicks on the link that whisks them off to the advertiser's site. Some cost mere pennies while others can cost a dime or a dollar for the prime spots on the list.

According to a recent report, one of the largest per click fee comes up when you search for "structured settlements" which are legal settlements set up to pay over time, like an annuity.
