This all depends on how you look at it. Everyone I know my age (mid to late 20s) has a job, but we're all getting paid about the same. the people with trade skills are making "good money" when you concider they're not in debt with college loans. but about 50% of the college grads I know are make the same money as the people who did not go to college. so would you still call that "good money" ??

I wouldn't devide the world up into college vs no college, but tecnical vs non technical. the people I know who went to college and got a degree in engineering, medicine or someother SKILLS are having the same sucess as people who work jobs in contruction or automotive repair. The people who went to college and got a degree in libral arts are fighting with the unskilled high school grads for jobs in food service.

Seems to me when the econemy is in the dumps people have to pay for their NEEDS (these are linked to the SKILLS I mentioned above) but are less likely to pay for their WANTS, which are normally linked to libral arts degrees.
