hi guys

in due my project of total removal of EGR (currently just plugged) so it is
clear to me how to do it,but from the forum reading, I got that vac line from vacum lever (pic 1.) has something to do with EGR and with smoothness of the shifting.

my vac line vacum lever (on the valve cover) ends up in actuator (pic. 2)

is it safe to remove that line completely,..any up/downside of that removal?
