I promise, I didn't paint this one green. It's a factory job, this one. She's a '76 280S vis many Teutonic vonders beneath ze schkin. I shall provide more photos in the near future. The 1 mile drive home from the rendezvous with the Kenworth was sprightly and only mildly terror invoking. Let's just say the amount of brake pressure required to halt Das Sledd borders on minimal, but the pedal travel is extraordinary. Mind you this is better than the situation with the accelerator pedal, which isn't there at all. One stokes the engine by means of the stick upon which the accelerator pedal is normally fastened to. I could go on. BUT, Sadie the 280S is an exact clone to the 280S my granny bought in the 70s, also named Sadie. This is also a clone to the car my mum learned to drive on in Chicago. Let's just say a bit of nostalgia was involved in this one.

Other news, I will soon be receiving a Cold Steel 1860 Heavy Cavalry Saber. It's effects are devastating and it passes the British Proof Test. It will be a long while until I feel confident enough in it's use on horseback though.
